Oscar del Calcio

Whether you like or not, best foreign player in Italia is Kaka. He deserves it. But also, you got another controversial winners in Oscar del Calcio, one of soccer award ceremony in Serie A. At least, for me.

Maybe, the winners are as good as they are. But it will be better if others win. For examples, why Gianluigi Buffon didn’t come into nominees? It’s kind of weird, off course.

The problem is qualification for this award. It was voted on by players during pre-season training and their previous season apperances. Pre season basis? For what?

I concern about the winners for Best Goalkeeper, Best Coach, and Champion of Champions? Why Angelo Peruzzi won it? Sebastian Frey (Fiorentina), as one of nominees, has been widely considered as the best goalkeeper after Buffon in Italy. But he got nothing.

Also, Why Luciano Spalletti won as the best coach and Ronaldo is the champion? Spalletti is not bad coach, but Roberto Mancini deserves the award after he gave last season league title for Inter Milan. And Paolo Maldini will be better than Ronaldo for Champion of Champions category.

But, there folks, the winners took all. We only should appreciate them.
